Audiology
Audiology is specialized non-medical diagnostic testing for the assessment / diagnosis, rehabilitation of people with hearing and / or balance disorders.
The Audiologist performs psychoacoustic, acoustic and electrophysiological tests, in both children and adult, in order to study the functionality of the auditory and vestibular systems, using a variety of exams:
- Simple Tonal Audiogram
- Vocal Audiogram
- Supraliminary Tests
- Impedanciometry (Tympanogram and Research of Ipsi and Contra-lateral Static Reflexes)
- Acoustic Otoacoustic
- Auditory Evoked Potentials
- Videonystagmography
- Posturography
- Otolithic Potentials
